An exhibition of the shortlisted artists of Nuance Gallery contemporary art competition
From February 6th, at the Nuance Gallery, the exhibition, consisting of the finalists' works from the second edition of the Contemporary Art Contest organized by the Nuance Gallery, will be presented. This time, participants were faced with the free and broad-based theme "Newance" - a word game with a hint at the English "new" - "new". The number of applications for the competition was a true compliment to the gallery team. At the opening of the exhibition, the results of the second, final stage of the competition jury will be announced, through which the three winners will be selected. Exposition will contain many forms under which contemporary art could exist. From the manifestations of classical painting, through climbing techniques, even to sculptural works that awaken "readymade" associations. The Metzotino - engraving technique, known as one of the most complex among the graphic ones, finds its realization in the work of one of the participants. Artists working with wood and stone are also among the artists present at the exhibition. Interestingly, it will be demonstrations and works that awaken associations of currents in art that emerged in the 20th century, such as fabulism, abstract expressionism and pop art developed in the context of modernity.
